The opportunity to race against the best of the best was set before Clayton Murphy and the former Akron All-American proved up to the challenge posting the 12th-fastest time (1:46.18) in the quarterfinals of the 800 meters at the XXXI Summer Olympics on Friday, Aug. 12, to advance to the semifinal round.
